Established 1992
"Serving, Ex-Service Men, Women, Friends and Families”
Empire Shooting Sports Club (formally Junction 36 Gun Club) was established in 1992 and flourished well into the next decade. At it's peek we had over 400 members being one of the largest clubs in Yorkshire. However, since the loss of our facilities in 2004 our membership has significantly reduced.
We offer the opportunity for our members to practice and compete in various shooting disciplines coving Firearms, Air weapons and Shotguns. Full tuition and supervision is provided prior to and during any shooting whether you are a beginner or an accomplished marksman.
However, although the Club is open for membership to those who already possess a valid Firearm Certificate, we are currently seeking our Home Office Approval in order to attract new members into our sport.
Current members can join this web site to gain access to the members only Newsdesk.
"To promote and encourage Marksmanship throughout the Queen’s Dominions, in the interests of Defence and the Permanence of the Volunteer and Auxiliary Forces, Naval, Military and Air."
